GRI: understand the global standards for sustainability impacts

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an independent non-profit organization that leads a global multi-stakeholder process aimed at developing and refining rigorous and practical sustainability reports in the form of Standards.

At the end of June 2025, the group launched its Sustainability Taxonomy. This machine-readable reporting model covers all GRI standards (universal, sector-specific, and thematic). Its creation aims to facilitate the collection of non-financial data but also to ensure greater consistency in publications as well as enhanced interoperability with other sustainability reporting standards.
